Building the Systems Behind the Spectacle.

Le Cirque de Nuit is bold, theatrical, technically ambitious, and wonderfully larger than life.

Behind that kind of creative work, there has to be structure: funding strategy, sponsorship materials, project management, workflow systems, documentation, reporting, and enough operational clarity to keep the whole thing from wobbling.

BadAss Creative supports Le Cirque de Nuit and Cirque Nuit Arts Foundation with the backstage infrastructure that helps the organization grow, fund, plan, and deliver its work with more confidence and less scramble.

In other words: less chaos in the rigging, more room for the spectacle.

Funding Strategy & Grant Development

Funding strategy is not just about finding grants and launching applications into the void.

It requires timing, positioning, eligibility review, funder alignment, budgets, reporting readiness, and a clear understanding of what an organization can realistically deliver.

For Le Cirque de Nuit, I support grant planning, application development, reporting, compliance tracking, funding calendars, funder correspondence, and strategic check-ins. This includes shaping applications and reports so they reflect both the creative ambition of the work and the organizational capacity required to deliver it well.

The goal is not only to secure funding. It is to build a stronger funding practice.

Sponsorship Strategy & Proposal Development

As Le Cirque de Nuit grows, sponsorship becomes more than a logo on a poster and a hopeful little invoice.

I support the development of sponsorship materials, recognition frameworks, proposal language, prospect research, and strategic positioning for higher-value sponsorship opportunities.

This work helps tell a clearer story to prospective sponsors: what Le Cirque de Nuit does, why it matters, who it reaches, and what kind of partnership makes sense.

The aim is to make sponsorship feel intentional, aligned, and worth paying attention to.

Systems, Workflows & Organizational Memory

Creative organizations often carry enormous amounts of knowledge in people’s heads.

That works until someone is sick, busy, overwhelmed, new, leaving, onboarding, or trying to remember which folder contains the final-final-actually-final version of a document.

Through capacity-building work with Cirque Nuit Arts Foundation, I support the development of systems that make the organization easier to run, easier to explain, and easier to sustain. This includes Monday.com workspace development, workflow design, document organization, SOP implementation, training support, adoption tracking, and continuity planning.

The work is practical. It is also deeply strategic.

Better systems create more breathing room for better decisions.

Future Focus Implementation

Through Cirque Nuit Arts Foundation’s Future Focus Implementation Project, BadAss Creative supports project leadership, consultant coordination, milestone tracking, SOP development, training, internal reporting, and sustainability planning.

This work helps move operational knowledge out of scattered places and into tools, workflows, and documents that staff, board members, contractors, and future collaborators can actually use.

It is not about creating systems for the sake of systems.

It is about making the organization easier to carry.

The Work Behind the Work

My work with Le Cirque de Nuit and Cirque Nuit Arts Foundation has included:

  • Grant strategy and application development

  • Grant tracking, reporting, and compliance support

  • Funding pipeline planning

  • Sponsorship proposal development and advisory support

  • Strategic positioning for funders and sponsors

  • SOP development and operational documentation

  • Project management and consultant coordination

  • Training and onboarding support

  • Internal reporting and adoption tracking

  • Continuity and sustainability planning

  • Document organization and funder readiness

Why This Work Matters

Arts organizations are often expected to be visionary, community-minded, financially resilient, administratively tidy, audience-focused, funder-ready, sponsor-friendly, and somehow under-budget at all times.

That is a lot of hats. Some of them have sequins. Some of them are spreadsheets.

BadAss Creative helps Le Cirque de Nuit strengthen the systems, language, planning, and funding infrastructure underneath the creative work, so the organization can pursue bigger opportunities with more clarity and less scramble.

The BadAss Creative Role

My role is part strategist, part systems builder, part funding translator, part project wrangler.

I help turn creative ambition into fundable plans, repeatable workflows, clearer documentation, stronger proposals, and operational tools that support long-term growth.

The work is not always flashy.

That is the point.

The strongest infrastructure often disappears into the background, quietly making everything else possible.

The Outcome

Le Cirque de Nuit is building stronger internal systems, clearer funding practices, more organized documentation, and a more sustainable foundation for future growth.

BadAss Creative supports that evolution by helping connect the artistic vision to the operational structure required to hold it.

Big ideas need rigging.

This is the rigging.
