Land Acknowledgment

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity, and truth, BadAss Creative acknowledges that our work takes place on the traditional territories of many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples who have stewarded these lands for generations. We operate on Treaty 6, Treaty 7, and Treaty 8 territory, home to the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai Nations), the Tsuut’ina Nation, the Stoney Nakoda Nations, the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, and Nakota Sioux, as well as the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III, and the Otipemisiwak Métis Government.

We recognize and honour the ongoing relationship between Indigenous communities and this land. We are committed to learning, unlearning, and taking meaningful action to support Indigenous sovereignty, equity, and reconciliation.
